About Us
Welcome to the California Agriculture Museum & Event Center, where admission is absolutely free! We are currently in the process of relocating from our current building on Hays Lane and are looking forward to a new chapter in our journey. Although our doors will close to the public on March 30th, 2025, we invite you to visit us before then and experience our unique collection of tractors. Our community's support has been vital to our operations, and it's your inspiration that motivates us to find our forever home.
The museum is a treasure trove of historic farm machinery and artifacts, showcasing a diverse array of tractors and interactive exhibits that chronicle the history of agriculture from the Gold Rush era to today. We proudly tell the story of how California’s farming evolved from horse-drawn implements to steam and fuel-powered machinery. Our exhibits and galleries wind through fascinating displays of harvesters, tractors, trucks, and more, creating a tapestry of California’s agricultural heritage and innovations.
We are committed to enhancing the appreciation of California's rich agricultural legacy through our rotating exhibits and engaging presentations. Our kid's zone aims to bring families together in a playful, imaginative setting that harkens back to simpler times.
Book a guided tour of our incredible tractor collection, available up until March 30th, 2025. It’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in the history of Californian agriculture, led by our dedicated volunteer tour guides. Our mission is to preserve and educate about the state's agricultural history, and your visitation supports these efforts.
The museum also hosts a variety of special events within our unique Banquet Hall and Courtyard. These spaces have been the backdrop for everything from weddings and business meetings to festivals and birthdays, and our venue can be customized to meet the unique needs of any event with the help of our partnering vendors.
