Down A Country road is your Wisconsin Old Order Amish country destination! Step on guided tours through Wisconsin's beautiful and largest Amish community. Down A Country Road features 6 gift shops and an Ice Cream Shop located on our farm. The gift shops were built by our Amish friends and neighbors and feature handcrafted furniture, quilts, rugs, baskets, bonnets, pillow shams, home made jams and jellies and many, many more items. We also feature many crafts made by other local artisans. The gift shops are set in a beautifully landscaped village like setting on our farm in the heart of Wisconsin's largest Amish community. The gift shops include The Amish Shop, Emma's Kitchen, Memories from Amish Country, The Little Red Shed , Country Corner Ice Cream Shop and Not So Plain & Simple. Your guide will step on and guide you through the Amish community complete with stops at Amish farmsteads. Guests will meet the Amish folks and have the opportunity to get a glimpse of life on an Amish farm. The History, Traditions and Customs of the Amish will be shared as the coach meanders the beautiful terrain of the Driftless area. We can provide you with a full day or several day itinerary of other attractions and lodging in the beautiful driftless area of Wisconsin. We are very easily accessible!
