Welcome to Gwinllan, where we express our deep gratitude to all our customers for their unwavering support throughout 2024. As the festive season approaches, we wish everyone a joyful, healthy, and prosperous 2025. Please be aware that our estate will be closed from December 23rd and will reopen on January 3rd, 2025.

Nestled in the Fairplay Wine Region of the scenic Sierra Foothills in El Dorado County, our vineyard is perched atop a ridge, offering breathtaking views in every direction. We pride ourselves on our diverse array of hand-crafted wines, including sparkling (méthode champenoise), white, and red varieties, all made from our estate-grown grapes. Each wine is produced from grapes meticulously picked in small batches and hand-sorted to ensure optimal quality, allowing us to consistently craft only the finest wines.

We are honored by the recent awards we have received. Our 2019 Late Disgorged Rosé Estate Champagne was recognized at the Sierra Foothill Wine Competition 2023 as the Best Sparkling, earning 98 points and a double gold rating from Sunset magazine with 95 points. Additionally, our 2020 Late Disgorged Blanc de Blancs was awarded Best Sparkling at the Sierra Foothill Wine Competition 2024.

We are excited to share our new releases, which include the 2020 Vermentino, 2020 Grenache Blanc, and the 2020 Late Disgorged Blanc de Blancs.

Our vineyard and wines have been featured in various media articles. The Financial Times in London described El Dorado as reminiscent of Napa years ago, and Sacramento Bee highlighted our region as one of the most affordable wine areas in the Sacramento Area.
