About Us
Situated on the rolling southwest hills of the Mayacamas Mountains in the Moon Mountain District of Sonoma, Manzanita Grove Vineyard cherishes the principles of sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Our vineyards, orchards, and gardens thrive under these practices, which include planting cover crops to enrich the soil, conserve water, capture carbon, and provide nourishment for beneficial insects. To enhance our eco-friendly approach, we've installed bird, owl, and bat boxes to naturally manage pests. Nestled amongst a grove of native Manzanita trees—our inspiration for the vineyard's name—our commitment to nature extends to protecting native oak trees and planting indigenous hedgerows.
Our wines embody excellence, crafted with utmost precision and passion, offering a distinctive and exceptional tasting journey. The journey from the budding grapes in spring to the ripe harvest in fall is meticulously focused on maintaining quality while preserving the land. Every drop we produce reflects our dedication to this land, an ethos manifested through our award-winning wines. Our Sangiovese, planted in traditional Tuscan style, exudes vibrant red fruit flavors, while the Cabernet Sauvignon reveals layers of violets, cassis, and dark berries, harmonizing beautifully with various dishes.
Since our inception in 2011, we have been deeply committed to the art of winemaking and vineyard cultivation. The bond we share with our vines has grown over time, fueled by countless hours spent observing growth patterns, understanding soil needs, and appreciating each season's distinct impact on the vineyard and harvest quality. Our devotion is rooted in celebrating both wine and the lifestyle it inspires.
