Rainbow Ridge Llama Ranch

At Rainbow Ridge Llama Ranch, we've been dedicated caretakers of llamas since 1993 under the management of Nina Pedersen. Our ranch proudly hosts numerous llamas that have achieved local, regional, and national championship titles through our care and efforts.

Located in the scenic west Petaluma countryside, our ranch is conveniently situated just an hour north of San Francisco, and a half-hour west of Sonoma and Napa. This location provides a beautiful backdrop for our operations and the well-being of our animals.

While llamas are at the heart of what we do, our ranch home is also shared with a lively bunch of chickens that roam freely and provide us with fresh eggs. Our barn cat diligently keeps the barn and garden clear of pesky unwanted guests, and our cattle dog adds excitement by trying to recruit anyone willing to play Frisbee or ball with her, as the llamas remain uninterested in such games.

We run a fully operational and private working ranch and do not open our property to public visits. However, we do encourage fellow llama enthusiasts to participate in various llama events and to seek out as much information as they can about these unique animals.
