River Bend Alpacas

Situated on the Beaver River in the northern region of New York State we have been raising alpacas for the past 9 years. Currently 20 alpacas reside here and another 8 are expected by the fall, 2009! Here on the farm we do our own shearing annually. In our farm store you will find a vast number of locally knit alpaca products...many from our own animals! We also carry alpaca yarn...most from our herd! And for the handspinner / artist we are pleased to sell raw fiber &/or roving from our animals. Scheduled tours are commonly seen here at River Bend Alpacas. From local families, tour busses, school & church groups ...you name it... they've been here!! Everyone leaves having learned something new and with a smile on their face! We hope you stop by if you're in the area or are just looking for something special to do! We enjoy meeting new people and always appreciate seeing familiar faces, as well! From Utica, NY: Rt. 12 North to Lowville. Follow signs for R. 812 North to Croghan. In Croghan take a left onto Shady Ave. / Rt. 126 (there is a Nice-N-Easy store on the corner!). Stay on 126 for 1 mile. Watch for our farm sign on your right just BEFORE the Beaver River Health Center. Turn right at the sign onto "Kay Lane" (gravel driveway) and take your first left about 1/2 mile down!
